An Unmanaged Dedicated Server provides you with raw hardware resources and full administrative access, but without any software configuration, maintenance, or technical support from the hosting provider. You're responsible for all server management tasks including OS installation, security patches, and software updates.

Unmanaged servers are ideal for experienced system administrators, developers, or businesses with in-house IT teams who want complete control over their server environment and don't require hands-on support from the hosting provider.

You receive full root (Linux) or administrator (Windows) access to your server, giving you complete control to install any software, configure all settings, and customize the server to your exact specifications without restrictions.

You can install virtually any operating system that's compatible with the server hardware, including various Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian), Windows Server versions, BSD variants, or even custom OS builds.

Our support for unmanaged servers is limited to hardware and network infrastructure issues. We ensure your server is online and accessible, but all software-related configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance is your responsibility.

You'll receive IPMI/KVM access for remote management, along with SSH (Linux) or RDP (Windows) credentials. For Linux servers, we provide a base OS installation with SSH access, while Windows servers come with Remote Desktop enabled.

Yes, you can upgrade RAM, storage, or network capacity as needed. Major hardware changes like CPU upgrades may require server migration. Our team can assist with hardware upgrades while maintaining your data.

As the server administrator, you're responsible for all security measures including firewall configuration, OS hardening, software updates, user access controls, intrusion detection, and regular security audits.

We offer optional backup solutions for an additional fee, but by default unmanaged servers don't include backups. You're responsible for implementing and maintaining your own backup strategy.

With unmanaged servers, security incidents are your responsibility to handle. We may intervene if a compromised server affects our network or other customers, but remediation of hacked systems is your responsibility.
